LAGTV Starctaft 2 Tournament Information Station!

Ladies and gentlemen,

We've either lost our minds or our sense of reality but we're going to run our first (and hopefully NOT last) Starcraft 2 Tournament for Mid-level players just like you and I! Below is the information you need to know now, and what you'll need to know in the coming weeks.

BASICS

• 16 player tournament
• Best of 3 match set up
• Grand prize will be awarded
• Semi-finals winning matches and all finals matches will be casted by Adam and Jeff

WHO?

• Must be a subscriber to our Youtube channel
• Must be in Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum league
• 16 players will be chosen (an extra 16 will be chosen as back ups in case people drop out)

WHEN?

• The Tournament will begin on the 11th of December
• The final match up will be on the 12th of December

HOW?

• The first 8 subscribers to post on this blog (unless specified otherwise) with the appropriate information will be automatically entered. Required information will be specified at the end of this blog.
• The second 8 subscribers will have to do a little something extra. We want you to go promote LAGTV in someway to help bring more viewers and subscribers in. We want you to email us proof of your brilliant work, and we will choose the top 8 amazing advertisers.
• If you missed out, fear not! We will be choosing another 16 as back ups in case someone drops out. Simply be in the comments like the first 8 chosen. Full disclosure: Extras who were not picked in the second 8 for promoting LAGTV will be chosen above those who simply commented on the blog.
• IMPORTANT: This tournament is FREE! This is why the second 8 are promoting us. We're doing this free of charge and providing a PRIZE which I will highlight riiiiiiight......now.

WHAT (will I win) ?

• First prize gets a GAME OF THEIR CHOICE on Steam (up to $80) and automatic entry into our next tournament. If the game you want isn't out yet (say Portal 2) we will give you the money in E-gift card form through Steam.
• Second place receives mad props, a slap on the butt, and automatic entry into our next tournament.

IMPORTANT DATES

• A NEW BLOG ENTRY will be posted for registration purposes on November 21st
• Entries for the first 8 will be taken starting 12pm Atlantic Time on November 21st
• Proof of promotion emails for the second 8 are due by 12pm Atlantic Time on November 28th
• Chosen 16 and back up 16 will have confirmation emails sent to them following November 28th
• Initial bracket will be posted here on December 5th
• BACK OUT DATE is 12pm Atlantic Time on December 8th
• First 3 rounds of tournament play will be done on December 11th
• Final match up will be done on December 12th and will be casted live by Adam and Jeff (not live for viewing, simply casted live)

• Starcraft 2 user name / league and rank (if you don't play much 1v1 give us the closest equivalent)
• Youtube user name (for verification you are a subscriber)
• Email address (for contact purposes)
